As a survivor of abuse I have found a need to help others understand that there are many forms of abuse, that there are organizations available to help abuse victims move on from the abusive atmosphere that they have become accustomed to and many ways in which you as an individual can rebuild your self-esteem and bring you to a place where you are no longer a victim...but a survivor.
A victim can be a woman, man, child and there is no set standard as to nationality, religion, economical status, etc. It can affect us all.
